Never Been to Stowe?
Here is some helpful information about Stowe and our location:
The Town of Stowe is built along two main roads: Highway 100 (aka "Main," "Maple,"
or "Pucker" Street), a truck route that takes you from Interstate 89 into town and
northward to Canada; and scenic Mountain Road (Rt. 108), that begins at Stowe's
village center and takes you to Mt. Mansfield (about six miles), Vermont's highest
mountain and Stowe's focal point for year round recreation.
Along the first two miles of scenic Mountain Road you will find most of Stowe's unique restaurants and shops, luxurious spas and resorts, the Stowe Country Club, and Stowe's award-winning Recreation Path that winds through town. Timberholm Inn is just around the corner from it all - situated only a half mile away from this vibrant section of Mountain Road on a quiet, wooded hillside with gorgeous mountain views and abundant birdlife. Our serene setting combined with convenient proximity to Mountain Road amenities, the village center, and Mt. Mansfield's ski and summer recreation area has helped make Timberholm Inn a favorite lodging choice since 1949.
